StopTheFakes

StopTheFakes is a Blockchain-based decentralized service that aims to detect forgery and infringement of intellectual property rights created on the platform of the Ethereum smart contract. Blockchain technology has been implemented using open source licenses. This project has its own token, which is the only payment method in its framework. The basic idea is to build a truly transparent and reliable system that can transfer data from users to rights holders. The team is responsible for providing the necessary infrastructure and incorporating those who want to know about violations of their rights and those who can provide them with this information because of their geographic location or other factors.

The team's mission is to create a global system that facilitates wars against counterfeiting and piracy around the world. Their goal is to minimize the cost of detecting violations and to help brand owners to deal directly with consumers. A fight against intellectual property infringement will result in reduced advertising costs and increased profits for law-abiding companies while hitting highly organized crime.

Technology  

By using Ethereal Blockchain technology, STFC can guarantee the inability, authenticity and integrity of User-detected violations, as well as regulatory compliance by all service users. The use of an Interplanetary File System (IPFS) will allow us to store large amounts of data in a decentralized and independent way! STFCoin is the only payment method at StopTheFakes.io.
